Madeleine Lindley Ltd was established in 1988 with the aim of bringing the wonderful world of children´s literature into all learning approaches.

The Madeleine Lindley Team continues to read and select the best children's books to create a whole range of Book Collections for primary and secondary classrooms.

We believe that books by the best children's authors and illustrators should be at the heart of education and we have used our knowledge and understanding of what's published for children to create our curriculum and literacy collections.

Our Book Centre shelves are bursting with the latest and the best fiction and non –fiction, teacher resource books and the biggest collection of big books in the U.K. We supply books from most publishers and have over 400,000 titles in stock making it possible to do your entire book buying with one company.

With our up to date knowledge of children's and teachers’ books we are able to provide help and advice on books to complement and focus on the primary and secondary curriculum. We provide a first class mail order service for school orders and personal purchases throughout the U.K. and overseas.

Come and visit our showroom and see the best collection of children’s and teachers’ books in the U.K. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm and Saturday mornings from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm please note we are closed on all bank holiday weekends. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome and many schools use the Book Centre for In-service Training Days why not join them.
