Book Bands Book Packs

Book Bands has been designed to help teachers to organise reading materials at Foundation and Key Stage 1 and is written by educational specialists Shirley Bickler, Suzanne Baker and Sue Bodman.

It provides a rationale for including titles from a range of different publishers in a common gradient of challenge, and relates this gradient to the progression of phonics outlined in Letters and Sounds. 

We have created book packs for each band. Each book pack contains single copies of titles for the relevant band and cost £100 each.  If you require multiple copies of each book for guided reading please let us know.
