Flibberty is a young otter who likes to sit and dream. When he is sent out to catch fish, he spends his time watching the moon and chasing froglets and newts instead. But one day, the King of the River sets him a task that will take him far, far away from home. With the help of his friend the heron, Flibberty embarks on a mysterious journey, achieving more that he thought possible.
