A range of children’s fiction and non-fiction books to support the development of literacy skills, both reading and writing, and encourage a life-long love of reading. Our book packs relate to the three prime areas of learning and the four specific areas which are set out in the government’s Early Years Framework.
The prime areas cover the knowledge and skills which are foundations for a child’s school readiness and future progress and include Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development and Communication and Language. These prime areas are applied and reinforced by four specific sections: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.
