Lizzifly the Sea Scout

Lizzifly, the flying and talking sand lizard, spent most of his days relaxing on Cemaes Bay beach, chatting to his friend Griff. Griff was a comical seagull who was a stealer of ice creams and sandwiches, much to the amusement of Lizzifly.

Lizzifly and Griff would watch the boats drifting in and out of Cemaes Bay harbour and then they would doze. One stormy day, Lizzifly heard a disturbance on the beach. People shouting in desperation about a child who had drifted out into the raging storm, in a small boat. They feared he would drown.

So Lizzifly (the Sea Scout), hesitantly followed by Griff, went into action…
