Michael Foreman is a British writer and illustrator who has written a vast array of award-winning books that are nearly all set in or after World War II, such as 'War Boy' and 'After The War Was Over'. Many of Michael Foreman's books also feature Cornwall, where he lives when not in London.
He has twice won the Yoto Kate Greenwaway Award and has also scooped the Smarties Prize, the Kurt Maschler Award, the Bologna Book Prize, and is a two-time winner of the Francis Williams Illustration Award.
